Soil Hydrometer.
Soil Hydrometer is used to analyse grain size soil where more than 11%
of the material passes through 75 microns sieve. Clear transparent
glass having uniform clarity is used throughout the upper end on which
density scale is engraved.Smallest division on the scale is 0.0005. It
can be used to analyse Clay, silt, fine aggregates, and other materials
where absolute density has little variation amoung sample particles.
